Amazing new home for my mom
reviewed on: 12/03/2020 by KimGI can not say enough about Bayberry. The staff is what made us choose Bayberry for my mom. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel the love they have for what they do. I know my mom is well fed, taken care of and looked after. Other places we checked into had an odor we couldn't get past, not here. My mom has made new friends and is the happiest i've seen her in a long time.

Exceptional
reviewed on: 06/03/2020 by Diane DThere isn't anything about Bayberry that isn't great. The entire staff is outstanding. It was a really tough transition for my mother to move in here and they were exceptional with handling that situation. The only thing is that they are a bit pricey, however during the whole Covid-19 pandemic, they have been phenomenal and they are clearly doing everything they can to protect the residents. Previous to this, everything was great, then once the pandemic hit, we really got to see the level of care that they are willing to go to help the residents. We would highly recommend them!
The consciousness they provide is above and beyond!

The other communities we saw wanted to sell what they projected as comfort, but it really wasn't. They just wanted to fill in space, and Bayberry was very different. Everything was very clean, very excellent. The staff was very conscience on how they pay attention to detail, to make sure there was no trash. And for that matter the residents themselves insured that everything was clean. We were very surprise to see how everything is compared to the others. The cost at bayberry was very reasonable compared to the others we looked at. For the effort and service they provide, they were extremely reasonable in price. Adam and the staff was really I guess amazing to see. The consciousness they provide is above and beyond! we were very pleased with Bayberry.

On the other hand, residents well-groomed and carefully dressed; more activities than Sunrise. Residents were having a lovely singalong with a pianist when was there, so I didn't see many interactions. Brenda did tell me that they would not make my mother leave even if she ran out of money after 4.8 years, which she would. They would "find a way" to keep her until the end of her life. I haven't heard this before and need to find out if it is unique.
