Not Convenient For Us
reviewed on: 12/30/2016 by AnonymousWhen I had my tour I felt they were real good at showing me around the place. They were attentive and prepared for us to come see the community. But i thought this was too far for us, it would not be close enough.

communication between the staff and family needs improving

We had some questions on how he is doing and how things are going but because of the changing shifts there isn't good communication. We did put a log book in his room to help this. I also don't think there is as good as a patient to staff ratio as some other facilities. The property is fairly compact and I do wish there was more room to roam around. In general it is a nice place overall. I would say things are going good but not perfect.

Although she was only there for 10 days, the staff could not have been more compassionate and caring during her last days. Our family can not say enough good things about her care and the staff. From the moment you walk in the door, you are part of the family. The facility is very nice, clean and welcoming. As hard as this was for my Dad and our family placing my Mom somewhere other than taking care of her at home, we made the right choice in selecting Brighton Gardens.
