My father loves it !!
reviewed on: 12/21/2017 by AnonymousMy father loves it here. I talk to him every morning and he’ll say “I had biscuits and gravy this morning and it’s so good!” – One time while I was calling him I heard music in the background and I asked him what he was doing and he said “The have people down here line dancing and they’re going to teach me”. He just loves it there and he’s real happy. I thought he’d be upset with everything moving there from a big house, but he’s just tickled pink. He has everything he needs there, the people come in and clean every 2 weeks and he can get his haircut on site. During the first weekend in Dec. there was a family open house and it was really special. They had a Santa and a Mrs. Claus, you can take pictures with Santa, they had a pianist playing Christmas carols, and a lot of people gathered around and sang along. It was a lot of fun. They provided finger sandwiches, hors d’oeuvres, shrimp cocktails, and lots of desserts. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. They have other activities like live music and events during other holidays. I know during Fourth of July they have blown up bouncy houses for the kids, they have fireworks, and funnel cakes. The lady in charge, Michelle, always has a smile on her face and is always caring about the people; it’s really nice. We are very happy with the location and having him there. And since he’s also happy that makes us happier. I recommend this location to other people.
She is really happy there.
reviewed on: 08/03/2015 by AnonymousI would give them a five. She is really happy there. We really liked the location. They were the most accommodating in their payment options. They were very nice, and all the residents we spoke to were happy there.
Very nice place!
reviewed on: 03/06/2017 by AnonymousI am very pleased with how things turned out at Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe. I am in one of the villa units, and I could not be happier with it. The staff all seem very friendly, they were a big help through the whole process, and now that I've moved in they're always available if I have any questions or concerns.
Everything has been great.
reviewed on: 12/03/2014 by AnonymousEverything has been great. The food is the only thing that could be done a little better. My loved one is very health conscious, and they don't have a lot of healthy choices. They offer a lot of carbs, they don't have a lot of fresh fruit choices, or things like yogurt in the morning, or maybe more baked fish. We chose them for a couple of reasons, one being the amount of space for the price, and she really liked it, it felt more like a home to her. You got a little more for your money here.
Established, family-owned facility
reviewed on: 07/12/2013 by Would RecommendTwin Oaks Heritage Pointe has a small memory care unit. They had a lot of activities for assisted living but not for the memory care residents. My mom was not here very long but I only saw memory care residents watching tv or doing puzzles. It would have been nice if the staff included the memory care residents in some of the assisted living side's activities.
