reviewed on: 11/13/2015 by AnonymousThe staff at Ridgewood are very helpful and accommodating. They made the transition easy for her. Other places are the same price or more and not near as good as this facility. I like the space that she has, it's just very very nice. One thing that made her feel good is the first day down in the dining room the chef came out and told her that this wasn't just him serving and she has to eat what he serves. He told her she can have the food the way she wants it. That made her feel good because she has struggled with her appetite but that has gotten better. She has ample storage space and has given her the chance to keep seasonal items. That has really made it feel like home for her. It has been a very good experience.
The best days are yet to come
reviewed on: 06/27/2019 by Bob DornackerThe entire staff is dedicated to the well-being of their residents. My father was reluctant to leave his home after more than sixty years. It was the best move he could have made. I believe it has added years to his life.
couldn't go outside
reviewed on: 11/12/2015 by AnonymousThe only thing I didn't like about Ridgewood is it was on second floor and they couldn't go outside. It was secure and the residents cant get out. It just wasn't the right facility for my husband.

The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. They had a nice activity list put together for all of the residents as well as a tasty menu. I thought they had a clean property and did a nice job maintaining the building. It was just not the right fit in the end decision for my aunt.

I feel like the staff is what makes this place and they have been helpful and nice to my father and me as well with any concerns we may have. He said the food is okay I will traveling to see him to experience the food my self because to him everything is okay. I would recommend this community to friends or anyone thinking about senior living.
