Fine Reflections at the Bristal North Woodmere
reviewed on: 11/06/2015 by Michael ShepardEveryone, from management to the aides in the wings, has been warm, welcoming, professional, accommodating and caring. My mother had a bad experience in a memory care unit in another state. But now that I've moved her here to the Bristal, she is always upbeat and happy whenever I visit, three of four times a week. She says that she is treated with dignity and respect, that everyone is always patient and courteous, and the food is excellent. Her room is always clean, her laundry and linens are taken care of, and there is always something going on in the common room. I couldn't be more pleased.
Bristal North Woodmere
reviewed on: 09/25/2018 by Debra WilhelmMy mom has been living at the Bristal in North Woodmere for over a year and still says "Home Sweet Home" when returning from an outing. Nothing could be more comforting than seeing her in a happy and safe environment. Working with Lori McGuiness made mom's move a smooth and stress free transition for the whole family. Lori works very diligently to make sure everything is taken care of. I especially love how the whole staff greats my mom by name and everyone is very in tune to her needs. I highly recommend the Bristal at North Woodmere.
dad loves it there!
reviewed on: 10/15/2015 by AnonymousMy father calls it "my fancy hotel". He absolutely loves it there! If there is any negative at all, it is that it is not a medical facility so they have to rush him to a hospital for medical care and he has had to be rushed there six times in the last couple weeks, and a few of those turned out not to be necessary. They really are a wonderful group of people and are very attentive to him. They are really lovely caring people. They know their clientele very well. They know my father by name and always greet him kindly and warmly.
More activities than before!
reviewed on: 07/07/2015 by AnonymousThe activities at Bristal Assisted Living are great, my dad was at different place before, but now it's like night and day, they always have stuff going on all the time for the residents. It's a beautiful place, and the people there are all so sweet and kind.
Smiles From The Staff
reviewed on: 12/01/2016 by AnonymousI have no complaints my mom had wonderful care in the Reflection Program that is offered here. They were willing to accommodate the family and understood the situation. In the beginning they called me to explain their program and when I toured I saw good attitude from the staff and saw that the program is what she needed for dementia. It's not constant care but also not a nursing facility. During her respite my mom enjoyed the meals and the staff said she had a good appetite.
