Seemed empty...
reviewed on: 04/28/2017 by AnonymousSpring Arbor was comparable to other communities we also liked in the area. I liked the layout and it was a nice community. The only feeling I didn't like while I was there was that no one was around and it seemed empty. I may have toured on a day where the residents were gone on an outing.
Highly recommend for a loved one
reviewed on: 06/04/2021 by anonymousFrom what we have seen of the community it is clean, the staff have been friendly over the phone. They are doing activities like movies, in place exercises, getting your nails and have birthday celebrations. It is extremely expensive but you do get what you pay for.

reviewed on: 10/08/2013 by DaughterIt was fine but it was an older facility and the rooms were very small, the bathrooms were very small; it was just a bedroom and a bathroom and wasn't very home-like.
Excellent value
reviewed on: 11/14/2018 by AnonymousMy mother was admitted to the memory care unit at Spring Arbor called the Cottage Care unit. The unit is small, but this is a good thing for people with limited mobility and dementia. The staff have been very warm and caring. They take very good care of the residents. I have been there a number of times in the past 3 months and have hardly ever smelled anything unpleasant. The food is so-so. The activities are limited, but this is because the residents are quite limited in what they are able to do. Overall, I would say Spring Arbor is an excellent value. I'm very happy we moved my mother here.
Excellent community
reviewed on: 01/04/2019 by AnonymousExcellent experience touring this community. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. The activity calendar includes a lot of great options for people of different skillsets and the food is very good. This community has regular assisted living and a locked memory care area for people with Alzheimer's or dementia. The memory care area has a great feel and has specialized programming. All the residents seem to enjoy life at this community and they all seem happy.
