Thank You Cottingham for Your Warm Welcome and Care
reviewed on: 04/18/2018 by Vicki RickabaughMy 85 year Mom moved into Cottingham Retirement Community the beginning of 2018 and we are all SO happy about her decision to move to Cottingham's Independent Living. We wanted a facility that had all levels of care so my mom could become comfortable in a facility and not have to move when / if her needs change. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The residents are happy and easy to talk with which made Mom feel welcome and comfortable. So much do to: bingo, painting, playing cards, wine and cheese socials. I can tell Mom's "well being" has already improved since she is now more active. The most important part is that Mom is happy and enjoys her new friends! Of course, I can't forget to mention that she loves the meals and her cleaning lady! Thank you Cottingham for caring about my Mother!
So Grateful!
reviewed on: 10/09/2019 by Kim QuarryOur Mom moved in to A.L. at Cottingham in July 2019. We are so grateful! Every staff person, we have encountered have been kind, friendly, helpful and leaves us with a sense that they actually care about us and Mom. Having her live here has given us such peace of mind! There are wonderful activities for her to be involved in, if she wants. Moms neighbors are very sweet and she has made many friends already. Meals are good! Servers in the dining room nice and attentive. And we actually enjoy eating there with her when we can, it's affordable for us! Maintenance folks have been very helpful! And have taken care of things in a very timely manner! Housekeeping have been super! The nurses and aides that check in with Mom have been kind! The front desk ladies are awesome! There will never be any place that will feel like 'home' to her - as she left the house she lived in for over 55 years. But this is very close :-) She even tells us "I think this move was a good choice!" Again it's such peace of mind for us to see her adjust and enjoy living life again! Thank you Cottingham! And thank you "A Place for Mom" who helped guide us during this difficult time! We are grateful!
Very nice. The lady who too...
reviewed on: 10/13/2013 by A Place For Mom CustomerVery nice. The lady who took on the tour was nice, but couldn't answer a lot of questions. Guess she was filling in. Darla will be following up to answer my questions.
