She thought facility was nice and could possibly be suited for mother just some security issues,as far as leg monitor or,also what happens if she access to a higher level of care. also have a meeting with Sunrise on moving mother out of reminence floor to assissting living to help decrease cost.

Our loved one worked their whole life and saved etc. just like we all do, but they didn't account for the pricing involved in having to be taken care of when they got older, esp not at Brookdale. This place truly sets the standard for the care your loved one deserves. Unfortunately, 90% of the people who deserve this kind of care won't be able to afford it at Brookdale. This place is wonderful, so wonderful in fact, that my advice would be to not bother to walk in the door. Just drive on by to the place your loved one can afford. Once you see this place and experience it's care, nothing else will do, and that's a problem if you are the average older person. It breaks our hearts we can no longer afford to keep our loved one here. It truly does.
Mom Could Use More Motivation
reviewed on: 09/08/2016 by AnonymousSo far the transition has been okay. I believe there needs to be more supervision in the dining room so my mom won't feel unwelcome. The staff accommodate her by bringing her meals to her. I also feel they do not have enough staff to meet all the needs but they are doing their very best. My mom is safe and activities are available. I also wish they could get her to try activities or get her to try other outings.

reviewed on: 08/29/2017 by AnonymousThis was the nice tour with friendly staff. The community was clean and we liked the layout. The meals were healthy and the activities would have been offered. This was not close to home, but we would recommend that families take a tour of this nice community.
