5 star review
reviewed on: 10/08/2021 by Kay BWe chose Oakleaf Village because when I called, the director was caring, kind, and honest. She was also upset with the way my mother was being treated at her previous facility that we transferred from. My mother did have a private room. The staff were really on top of everything and very attentive to my mother and our families needs, they really listened to us. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

reviewed on: 12/27/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerSecurity was not what I was looking for. Storage in apt was great. Full kitchen. B-fast and dinner buffet. Lunch on resident. Outside area not mowed, felt overgrown. Dining area first rate. Room doors dusty from remodeling. Nice library plus book mobile.Narrow hallways. Residents were just sitting in common area(inactive & quiet). Felt like we were rushed. 2 story
Private funding then into Medicaid
reviewed on: 07/03/2013 by Satisfied CustomerWe chose Oakleaf because it is close to proximity to were another community where a loved one lives. Other main factors in choosing this community is because of the availability they had and the cost they offered. The offer a program were you can do private funding for a certain amount of time and then they will accept Medicaid. We had a meal with our loved one there and we thought the food was fine but our loved one doesn't like it, just doesn't taste good for her.
Outstanding Staff
reviewed on: 06/09/2016 by AnonymousEverything is working out very well for my mother here, I'am satisfied with everything they have done for us. The community looks nice and pretty well maintained. The staff is amazing, they are doing a great job caring for my mother. There many activities, and she is participating in many. The food is wonderful, she enjoys the meals. I know she safe and being cared for well.
An answer to prayer
reviewed on: 09/10/2019 by Jeannie kesegI helped a friend find a new home for her mom recently. I contacted A Place for Mom. They were so absolutely friendly, patient, and helpful!!! They saved me so much time and stress by doing all the leg work for me! They asked me everything needed to help find the right fit for the mom and recommended oakleaf almost immediately! My friends mom has been living there now for a couple months and loves it! She’s making friends, participating in all kinds of fun activities, and is quite happy and has peace of mind. I ultimately thank God for connecting me to place for mom, and secondly , I thank this wonderful help! I highly recommend it to any and everyone looking for a home for their loved one. I wish I had known about them a long time ago! You can be sure I pass their name on to anyone I talk to looking for a home for their loved one. Thanks again!!
