reviewed on: 07/23/2019 by SueMy Mother lived at Amica Newmarket for 5 years before she passed away this year. The staff are what really makes this place. Every resident is treated as someone special without begin condescending. My Mother was concerned about not fitting in as she was a bit shy at first however she soon realized that everyone living there "has been there too". The residents take it upon themselves to try and include new residents - as much as they want to be included. There is no pressure. I highly recommend this residence to anyone looking for themselves or for a loved one. It's a hard decision when the time comes but the care and compassion in the place makes it easier.
