Community Reviews
I like the organization and the staff..
reviewed on: 06/23/2015 by AnonymousI like the organization and the staff. My only criticism is the weekly cleaning of my aunt's apartment. It doesn't seem very thorough. Overall, it has been a very good experience. Everyone there seems very nice and caring. They offer activities. I have already recommended it to people I know. The Powell Assisted Living & Memory Care is a really nice community with a nice atmosphere. It has been good.
A tour for mom's care
reviewed on: 09/11/2017 by AnonymousWe toured this community for my mom's care. We did not like this location for my brother and I could get it is needed. The community was not as lively for my mom. The community is classy. We liked the lunch that we had. They do offer. We would suggest that families tour
Nice Community!!
reviewed on: 08/22/2016 by AnonymousI really enjoyed the lunch the community offered us when we went on our tour. They had a great menu full of many options. The staff was very nice and helped answer our questions. There was no odor to the community. One of the things i wasn't very happy with was the size of the rooms they were very small.
Great Experience!
reviewed on: 01/14/2014 by Sue PurnickI have no complaints. Overall, they were very friendly, very helpful. After my husband left, I had to go back because I'd forgotten a couple things, and everyone came out to see him and say hi. He was there for respite while I had surgery and I would bring him back no question. When I first went there I thought I needed two months, but when the doctor told me that I needed to extend his stay, Powell Valley was very accommodating with my needs.
Dad is happy
reviewed on: 08/02/2013 by Theresa O.I just left from visiting my Dad at his new home. About a month ago he needed to move from his independent living facility to one with greater assisted living. He is 94 and he was starting to fall more often and feeling more lonely at night. We found Powell Valley through "A Place For Mom". It has proved to be a great find. In Dad's words they are very friendly and welcoming at his new place. Wen he walks down the hall everyone says hello. There are a bunch of Packer fans some of which have stopped in to discuss the team. He also enjoys sitting out in the courtyard reading, watching the water in the ponds and the people walking by. All of my interactions with the staff have great and they have welcomed my Dad into the community. I am so happy that we found this great community!
