Very nice place for independent retirement living
reviewed on: 11/17/2017 by Deb V.We needed a place to have my father move into rather quickly & the staff here, Denise & Barbara were very friendly, caring & helpful. They helped to make the transition for him easier. Denise or Mary Jo are always friendly as we walk into Evergreen Court when we go to visit my Dad. It's nice to know that they are at the entrance so that they see & greet everyone & the front entrance is locked at night. It makes me feel that he is in a safe place. It is a nice & clean facility. When I returned with my Dad after taking him in for a few procedures last month & was very worried about his recovery, as he did not feel well, Barbara went the extra mile to make sure that I was able to stay with him for the night. This heartfelt gesture made me feel so grateful that we chose Evergreen Court at Baycrest Village as the place for him to live. Barbara also listened & has acted on the concerns brought up to her about more food choices for diabetics. They also recommended Rachel K/Helpful Hand Home Care for in home health care services & that is working out great. I am very pleased & grateful for the services provided here!
Good Physical Therapy
reviewed on: 11/08/2013 by FriendMy grandson works for the fire department and he said no - but even so I think that I might have moved her in there. The rooms and therapy are nice. The nursing care right is there, and the doctor very is handy and close by. Their therapy is also really good. I had a friend go for rehab there after a hip replacement and she liked the food and recovered well.
