Community Reviews
Avemere Has Exceed Our Expectations in the Care for My Mother
reviewed on: 01/06/2021 by Kent HThe community has been great during the pandemic. I would recommend others look at this community for their loved ones. A lot of other communities I have been in had a smell, this one didn't have the same smell.
Has Given Me Peace of Mind
reviewed on: 06/25/2016 by AnonymousMy father moved in here a few weeks ago after struggling for years to maintain a home and all the worries associated with it. After a period of adjustment, he loves it here. Staff is very caring and they are always checking to make sure everything is ok. He is looking forward to having a fur buddy join him in the near future. Great place.
The Tour Went Good
reviewed on: 07/11/2016 by AnonymousThe tour was a good experience for me. I liked that they have an RN here and I felt there are better food choices too. The place looked nice to me. The financial requirement gave me issues. I would have preferred this place if there were more financial options.
Must consider place
reviewed on: 11/16/2020 by AnonymousWe chose Avamere at Oak Park because of the location and the fact that we were able to move my mom and my dad into the same room together. The room sizes here are nice and spacious. We ate here a few times before COVID, they do have a nice variety of food on the menu and residents are able to order different things if they do not like what is being served. The best part about the community is the interaction they get to have with all of the residents and staff members. I would recommend.
We found a wonderful appropriate place for my sister to live
reviewed on: 09/15/2021 by Cydney LMy loved one says that she likes the food. This is a caring community that treats the residents with respect and dignity. My loved one really likes the outings that they do and the bingo and exercise classes that they have. They have her up and going.
