Community Reviews
Definitely a Place to Consider
reviewed on: 02/27/2020 by Marlene StewartThe staff is friendly and compassionate. They are good at their jobs. The administrative team is always accessible and addresses every concern. The medical/nursing staff are diligent and conscientious. Food service is very attentive to the preferences of each resident. Sometimes they have a hard time keeping to the personal care schedule established upon moving in. The activities department offers a nice variety each week and several choices each day.
Excellent start, fair to maintain
reviewed on: 08/05/2021 by anonymousWe chose Elmcroft of Bridgeville at the time because of the price as well as the friendliness of the staff at the time. Once our loved one moved in, their demeanor completely changed. He did say that he does not like the food and it is bland. They clean up really well and the rooms themselves are larger in size than others that we did see elsewhere.
My experience was simplified because I was happy here as well as my loved one.
reviewed on: 05/07/2021 by RichardIt depends on the level of illness. My loved one had dementia, but other than that, she was healthy. What I liked about Elmcroft is they were very accommodating in being able to handle her particular problem. They were very good at infection control regarding the virus, and getting her vaccinated as quickly as possible. She feels safe there. The activities she participates in she enjoys. I am very happy that a physician evaluates her regularly, as well as outside nurses who come in to assess her mental status. If her dementia becomes more severe, they can handle it within the same facility, so there would be no need to move her out. I was very impressed with them. I looked at a number of places in the area, and for what my loved one could afford, Elmcroft was the best. I couldn't be happier with the care there. The cost seemed reasonable to me, but that's not to say that other places that cost less might not be equivalent. You would just have to go and check them out for yourself to see.
