Community Reviews

It was a toss up

reviewed on: 10/03/2017 by Anonymous

We really liked this community and the staff did a great job answering our questions and they took their time showing us around, the rooms were nice and there were a lot of amenities offered to the residents who choose to be a part of them. For us, it was a toss-up between another community but I would definitely recommend scheduling a tour here to see things for yourself.

I would recommend

We chose Commonwealth Senior Living at Harrisburg at the time mainly because of the staff members. The room sizes at the facility are very nice. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Would recommend this community

reviewed on: 09/02/2020 by Steve

This community at first was named Greenfield, and the people who worked while it was Greenfield were amazing, and the meals that were provided were really good. Greenfield was bought by another company which is why it is now called Commonwealth. The food now made at Commonwealth is not as good as it was before. We thought this community was pretty reasonably priced. Everyone who worked in the care services were always so kind. This community has two floors, each floor having their own dining room. The therapy is done in the basement which is just an elevator ride away. Each floor had their own parlor. Our loved one had a private room that had a bed, TV, their own bathroom, a double closet, and a kitchenette.

Closes Thing to Being Home

I highly recommend the community. They have worked with me during the pandemic and any changes that have happened during my loved one's stay. They are very friendly oriented. They reminded me of how I did business years ago. This made me feel good about my loved being there. My loved one feels like she is family there. The staff is very good about the care of my mother. They contact me and let me know of anything that my loved one needs.

Tour of Commonwealth

We did a virtual tour with Commonwealth and it was a very good tour, it was a staff member who was taking us around showing us the facility. We did not choose this one because of the location, it was just too far of a drive for us.
