A lot of room for improvement here
reviewed on: 12/20/2013 by Loved oneTo start with the postive, the activities director is great, and they do an excellent job at engaging residents of all different care levels. They also have a good laundry service, very prompt. But I have quite a few issues with other aspects of their service. First of all, there is no RN on staff at all, the highest qualified person is a med tech, which just isn't acceptable for the level of care of the residents. We've also had issues with some of the care staff. At one point my Mom fell, and when she was returning from the hospital after-hours the med tech couldn't be bothered to get up and help, or even say hello. They just seem understaffed and under-qualified in general. The maintenance staff has also been very slow to respond to requests I have made regarding things like taking a look at door knobs or bathroom fixtures.
