Twin Cedars - A Great Place for Mom
reviewed on: 10/03/2015 by AnonymousTwin Cedars is a great place. The owner, Tamara, is very compassionate and took the time to come see my mom and talk with her regarding her new living facility and to get an idea as to how her apartment was decorated so she can make mom more comfortable. My mom had some questions and Tamara answered them to her liking. Mom says she likes Twin Cedars. Everyone there is very friendly including the night help.....and, she loves the food! She also likes the fact that they have things for you to do all day and once a week (or more) they go out to special senior events in the area. At one time in her life, mom and dad ran a boarding house not too far from Twin Cedars, so she feels that she knows the area and, of course, likes the grounds around Twin Cedars. They have made a paved pathway around the area for the residents to walk. Tamara thought of everything for her residents.
Amazing
reviewed on: 03/18/2021 by Rebekah JMy uncle is getting up in age and with his recent medical diagnosis is just to much for me to handle on my own. I have to say after much deliberation this was the best decision I made for him. The staff is amazing very attentive and they treat him well. In the month he’s been there he’s called me daily to tell me about the activities he gets to enjoy. I’m so glad he’s safe and well cared for.
The best choice for Dad
reviewed on: 10/01/2021 by Debbie MOur dad has Alzheimers Disease and it progressed very quickly in the 19 months he lived with us. He lost all concept of time day and.night. Dad would get up in the wee hours of the night thinking it was daytime and leave the house for a walk. This led us to sleeping in shifts, very late nights and early morning. It became to much with 2 of working full time day jobs and my oldest going to college. I called Twin Cedars and thankfully they were able to get him in within a couple of days. It’s comforting to know that someone is with him 24 hours a day. All the girls are so very kind and patient with him. He has a great room which is always clean and a huge day room to hangout in to watch tv
Compassionate Staff
reviewed on: 02/12/2020 by Julia ChamberlainWe couldn't recommend Twin Cedars enough. Friendly, compassionate staff, extremely clean facilitates, and professional people all around. We were looking for a good place for my girlfriend's mother. We had a number of bad experiences in other nursing homes, but we found Twin Cedars to be a breath of fresh air. Every employee we interacted with was extremely polite, diligent, and and professional. They take the time to get to know their patients as people, not just numbers on a checklist. It is so important to know your loved one is being care of someone with true compassion, and that is exactly what we found at Twin Cedars. Five stars for Twin Cedars. Our family couldn't be more grateful.
A Nice Place for My Mom
reviewed on: 04/20/2020 by Mary MorrellUnfortunately, my mom has since passed away, but the community was so kind. The have a new administrator who is a nurse, but the old administrator was so sweet and caring. My friend was the activities director which is why we chose this community. It really was a nice place for my mom.
