Community Reviews
So far so good
reviewed on: 05/25/2021 by anonymousWe chose Anchor Bay at Pocasset at the time because of the cost of the facility. The apartment sizes here are really nice. It is hard to give an assessment right now because of the restrictions from covid that are still in place. So far my mom has been happy with it so I am happy.
Not pleased.
reviewed on: 06/19/2019 by AnonymousNursing staff not informed of changes to Mom's care by Nursing Supervisor. Communication is poor. Some days bathroom was not cleaned properly. Care services that were paid for were not given without reminders from family.
A safe place to live
reviewed on: 05/26/2020 by Kathleen SchmelingThe entire experience of moving your loved one from their family home into a community is emotional and difficult , but when done at the right time to the right place, it can be a beautiful experience. Anchor Bay is that experience for us. The staff are warm, loving, compassion, kind, and treat the residents with resident. The staff have been very aware and understanding of my mom's needs which has meant so much to us. We could n't be more grateful that we found Anchor Bay.

Nice community but needs more attention to the small details.
reviewed on: 04/06/2017 by AnonymousThere were a few things that have concerned me since my friend moved into Brookdale Pocasset Bay.One day she wasn't feeling well. She was in her room all day and no one did a "wellness" check on her. I feel like they should be more attentive if a patient is ill. There was another thing, the one of the housekeepers broke a very valuable trinket. She didn't report but I think she should have. Other than that it's a very nice place. I've eaten lunch with her a few times and the food is very good. She liked that the community is in a familiar area and they gave her a special to move in.
