reviewed on: 12/10/2018 by CathyI cannot say enough good things about Bloom at Hilton Head. Every family has to make the decision that works for their needs and set their expectations accordingly. After making a error in judgment and moving Mom to another senior facility, we made the change and moved Mom to Bloom at Hilton Head a year and half ago. Her mood and attitude changed dramatically for the better; she is happy, she gets so much attention from the staff. The CNA's genuinely care about her and dote on her. When I visit which is regularly she is happy and smiling. My Mom is at the stage where she needs additional assistance and Bloom has provided guidance and care every step of the way. I am so pleased that we made this choice. I can reach out to the staff at any time and they are available and responsive to any concerns or questions. Thank you to Tiffany and her great staff for providing a loving, caring and safe place for my Mom.
Caring place for seniors
reviewed on: 01/07/2019 by Tana HitchMy mother had to enter assisted living at the Bloom due to falling and frailty in her mid nineties. The rooms are lovely and her one bedroom is spacious with a large bedroom and separate sitting area. Three meals a day are offered and residents have choices for each meal. Housekeeping and bed making are done daily. Laundry services are provided. The staff is very friendly and patient with residents and families. Residents are encouraged to participate in mild exercise each day and attend musical performances, speakers, movies, bingo, parties and other activities. Hairdresser is onsite and manicurist and podiatrist help the residents. physicsl therapy is available to the residents as are trips to the stores close by and outings.Though my mother would rather be at home, she has improved physically and mentally since coming to the Bloom. We feel she is safe and enjoying her time there. They offer direct payment from checking account making it easier for the families and the cost is reasonable for all she receives. Thanks to the Bloom!

They do a good job with keeping the community and room well maintained. There are activities offered. The staff is kind, they have been helpful and friendly. She is satisfied with the meals. Overall I know she is safe and receiving great care. She is safe and in good hands. This is a community I would recommend.

reviewed on: 03/07/2014 by DebbieSince I have only been there a few times, what I saw was impressive. Mom is in the Alzheimer's wing. Very nice. The only gripe I would have is that they do not have automatic payment set up for Billing. Also they are in the process of getting a phone system back by where mom is. If I want to talk to mom I have to call one of the Staff and use their cell phone.
