Community Reviews
Nice Community for the Right Person
reviewed on: 11/30/2016 by AnonymousEveryone at this community was kind and friendly. I toured it for my mother in law and her needs. Everything went well, and this is a nice community. All my questions were answered. I felt like my mother in law needed more care than they were able to provide. This is a nice community for the right person, but not the one for us.
Friendly Tour Guide!!
reviewed on: 10/20/2016 by AnonymousThe Pointe At Cedar Park is a pet friendly community. They have available transportation for the residents. If special meals are needed they will work with the residents to try to accommodate them to the best. The person that took me to tour the community was knowledgeable about what they offer.
Rocky Start!!
reviewed on: 09/12/2017 by AnonymousMy mother has recently made the move into this community and in the beginning it was a really rocky transition. The staff where not prepared for her move at all and where not organized in her plan of care. It really made things difficult on our family for the first two weeks. I will say that things have improved since all of that has happened and changes have been made. I do hope that they can get some more staff employed to help with the resident ratio. There is just not enough people working there and to accommodate everyone's needs. They do have a great happy hour there that my mom really enjoys from time to time. I will lastly say they do have a few really strong people that work there who always go above and beyond for the residents.
Great Meals!!
reviewed on: 07/14/2017 by AnonymousMy loved one has recently made the move into this community and so far things are going okay. I think the staff could have some more personality would be my only suggestion. I feel comfortable with the care but I would like it if they could smile more and act like they enjoy what they are doing. My aunt at least makes it down for one out of the three meals they provide and enjoys them very much.
Thankful for Caring, Competent Staff
reviewed on: 10/08/2020 by Susan EllisJust want to give a shout out to the folks at The Pointe. Hey, do you know how hard these folks have worked to care fir your loved ones? No Covid cases among the residents. Great accomplishment! I have some folks I want to highlight here: Rashika and Janice. Rashika has a way with my loved one, (who can, at times, be difficult to work with)-she notices details. I am so grateful for her watchful eyes! Janice is upbeat, with a sunny disposition. She’s often the first person you speak with/see. When I drop items off for my loved one, I know they will get there. I have great confidence in her! Please know that there are so many more that I’d like to mention. Suffice it to say-the staff is the reason my loved one resides at The Pointe!
