Lovely Place, Maybe Not Right For Us
reviewed on: 09/19/2013 by DaughterMy mom just moved in there less than a month ago and she's already gone to the hospital and she can't go back there because there's not enough skilled nursing. It's a lovely place but I don't know if they're meeting my mom's needs. Overall, it's got a nice dining room and the lady who does hair does it well but when it comes to my mom's needs I'm just not sure yet.
Review of Pointe at Cedar Park
reviewed on: 11/16/2018 by AnonymousI love the feeling of community and the care my father receives. It is smaller than some other facilities which works great for my dad's dementia. He never gets lost! Friendly and caring staff.
Comfort and care
reviewed on: 05/19/2017 by AnonymousI am very happy with the care for my husband. We like the staff and the great care. The menu is good, but not enough at times. They have a lot of great activities for him to participate with the other residents. The staff are so welcoming and make you feel comfortable. We would highly recommend this community for the care of other families for a loved one.
Review of The Pointe at Cedar Park
reviewed on: 07/23/2019 by AnonymousMy sister and I selected the PCP for our 91 year old Mom and she has been living there for about 2 months. The Direction [name removed] and all of the staff seem very kind and caring. The atmosphere is homey, the food is excellent (only a couple of less-than). They addresses any concerns we had promptly, for the most part, and are still working to help our mom make a successful adjustment to assisted living.
Still very happy with The Pointe after 5+ years
reviewed on: 09/03/2021 by Chris and CharleyMy husband and I moved my mother from Florida to Texas kicking and screaming five years ago, so when she first moved into The Pointe she was not a happy camper. The Management and Staff assured me that she would be okay, that they would win her over. And that they did. After a period of adjustment The Pointe felt like home to my mother and everyone there became her family. That's one of the many reasons I think The Pointe is so extraordinary. They have consistently taken the best care of her, not just physically but emotionally as well. My mother has had some mental challenges and those too are addressed with the utmost love and professionalism. In addition to the care they've given my mother, they have been there to support me as well. I'd also like to mention that the Encompass Home Health (Wound Care, PT, OT, etc) folks are equally attentive and fabulous in caring for the Residents. In my opinion, The Pointe really is the best of the best.
