Still very happy with The Pointe after 5+ years
reviewed on: 09/03/2021 by Chris and CharleyMy husband and I moved my mother from Florida to Texas kicking and screaming five years ago, so when she first moved into The Pointe she was not a happy camper. The Management and Staff assured me that she would be okay, that they would win her over. And that they did. After a period of adjustment The Pointe felt like home to my mother and everyone there became her family. That's one of the many reasons I think The Pointe is so extraordinary. They have consistently taken the best care of her, not just physically but emotionally as well. My mother has had some mental challenges and those too are addressed with the utmost love and professionalism. In addition to the care they've given my mother, they have been there to support me as well. I'd also like to mention that the Encompass Home Health (Wound Care, PT, OT, etc) folks are equally attentive and fabulous in caring for the Residents. In my opinion, The Pointe really is the best of the best.

Review of The Pointe at Cedar Park
reviewed on: 07/23/2019 by AnonymousMy sister and I selected the PCP for our 91 year old Mom and she has been living there for about 2 months. The Direction [name removed] and all of the staff seem very kind and caring. The atmosphere is homey, the food is excellent (only a couple of less-than). They addresses any concerns we had promptly, for the most part, and are still working to help our mom make a successful adjustment to assisted living.
Love and Respect
reviewed on: 08/31/2020 by Christi PepeLove shined through every single day my Dad was at The Pointe. From the beginning I felt our prayers were answered! Wendy Dorsey, Executive Director, and my Dad hit it off at the first interview while he was still in rehab. In less than 48 hours she had everything in place to have my Dad moved in! I still remember his first day there! We were greeted with a big smile from Janice the concierge. Later, we were greeted by Bridget and Jaimie! I later learned that Bridget came in on her day off just to make sure that my Dad had everything he needed! That afternoon we met Doug Corbett, the Business Office Mgr. He came down to welcome Dad to The Pointe, and they were laughing and joking in less than a minute! I stayed with my dad that night in case he woke, up he wouldn’t be afraid. He was checked on every two hours. Our first morning there, I knew then that he was where he needed to be. My dad told me later that day that The Pointe was a good place to be! My family and I always felt welcome while we were there. Birthdays, Happy hour, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas celebrations, you name it, it’s celebrated! These people become your family! It’s really saying something when you know that they will take care of your family member. This facility is top notch! They ALL go above and beyond! The most important part is that they treat your family member with Love and respect!
