Community Reviews

Highly recommend Orchard Park

reviewed on: 05/25/2021 by Gladys B

We chose Orchard Park because when we went in to tour the facility. everybody was so nice and welcoming. The director stopping and telling everyone hi and knew every residents name and she introduced us to all staff in passing. We loved the open and friendly atmosphere. The room sizes here are perfect for what she needs. Their ability to go above and beyond to help is great, [name removed] is amazing and always made sure I got call backs and that I got through to the right people. My grandma loves it here and I would highly recommend them.

Great Care, Great Facility!

reviewed on: 03/21/2016 by Anonymous

My Mom & Dad moved in around Feb 10, 2016. Unfortunately, my Mom was in the last stages of cancer, and was only able to enjoy Orchard Park for about 2 weeks. But she had no complaints and nothing but great things to say about the facility and all who work there. My Dad has Alzheimer's and now lives in the memory care section. Although he gets confused about things, he has mentioned numerous times that he's happy with all the great care and feels very safe there. We have all been very pleased with the care provided to my parents.

Very caring environment

Unfortunately my mother passed away before she was able to move in. Everyone we met with there was wonderful. They were also very sweet when they found out about our mother's passing and even sent us a floral arrangement. Very caring environment. I wish we would have gotten to experience mom living there.

my review of orchard park

reviewed on: 11/16/2020 by Sandy Schroeder

the director is a very nice person and is engaged with everyone. He really wanted the residents to live in a nice place. They had a birdcage in the hall for the residents to feed a bird. The staff is very nice and went above and beyond to care for my loved one. the facility is extremely clean and neat. The communication was great. We received calls every 4-6 weeks with updates and they communicated their covid plan very well. They tried to make sure to come up with unique ideas so that we could see our loved one, including a parade, and a conversation outside with 6 ft of distance. I would recommend this community

main issue is the housekeeping

reviewed on: 09/09/2015 by Anonymous

I am having trouble with the housekeeping getting done at Orchard Park Victory Lakes. They are ruining all of her clothes by just putting everything on a really hot setting. Also we had to work with my mother-in-law on putting her clothes in a hamper to be cleaned. Otherwise she would hid her clothing. Well, we told the staff about this but they took the whole hamper instead of just her clothes out. So now we are having the issue again of her hiding her clothes and they are not being washed. The staff seem very willing to work with me though. There are also odors in this facility. They aren't emptying the garbage as they should. She does seem to be content there. I thought there would be a lot more activities than there are. I told the staff when we moved her in that she would make excuses as far as not participating and they acted like they would work with her, I am just not sure that is getting done. My main issue is the housekeeping. But again they seem to be willing to work with me on any issues I have had.
