Community Reviews
Friendly staff
reviewed on: 02/09/2016 by AnonymousThis is for the memory care section. They have this great schedule but when I pop in their not doing them. They have them watching TV, which is not an activity. It seems like their bored there. I think their understaffed and the staff is very friendly.
I would recommend them
reviewed on: 03/25/2021 by anonymousAll the staff members have been very friendly and very cooperative. Our loved one is being well taken care of, and she is escorted to three meals a day. They are offering several activities for the residents, and she does participate in a few of them. So far we have had no complaints and the pricing was competitive but lower then some other communities in the area.
Highly recommend Orchard Park
reviewed on: 05/25/2021 by Gladys BWe chose Orchard Park because when we went in to tour the facility. everybody was so nice and welcoming. The director stopping and telling everyone hi and knew every residents name and she introduced us to all staff in passing. We loved the open and friendly atmosphere. The room sizes here are perfect for what she needs. Their ability to go above and beyond to help is great, [name removed] is amazing and always made sure I got call backs and that I got through to the right people. My grandma loves it here and I would highly recommend them.
Nice place, overall
reviewed on: 12/17/2014 by AnonymousUnfortunately our loved one's stay here was only a short one, but overall I think they do a good job at Orchard Park. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. The memory care residents all seem very well cared for, and their rooms are always clean and tidy. They also did a good job with the food, from what I tried. However, I would say that they do seem a bit understaffed, and for this reason I'd say that the facility may work a bit better for those who are more functional physically.
main issue is the housekeeping
reviewed on: 09/09/2015 by AnonymousI am having trouble with the housekeeping getting done at Orchard Park Victory Lakes. They are ruining all of her clothes by just putting everything on a really hot setting. Also we had to work with my mother-in-law on putting her clothes in a hamper to be cleaned. Otherwise she would hid her clothing. Well, we told the staff about this but they took the whole hamper instead of just her clothes out. So now we are having the issue again of her hiding her clothes and they are not being washed. The staff seem very willing to work with me though. There are also odors in this facility. They aren't emptying the garbage as they should. She does seem to be content there. I thought there would be a lot more activities than there are. I told the staff when we moved her in that she would make excuses as far as not participating and they acted like they would work with her, I am just not sure that is getting done. My main issue is the housekeeping. But again they seem to be willing to work with me on any issues I have had.
