They've just been great!
reviewed on: 11/26/2014 by AnonymousThey've just been great! They have done an excellent job helping mom transition, not letting her hide in her room, and getting her out and involved. That was very helpful to me. I am so happy with the experience. If there is anything I can think of to recommend, it would be more fluid communication at the start. This was a brand new experience for me and there was a lot to take in and I had a little trouble grasping it all. We are very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Abbington Manor.
Pet friendly and always clean!
reviewed on: 11/06/2017 by AnonymousThe biggest deciding factor in going with Abbington Manor is that they are dog friendly. I know my Mother could not be without her dog. I really like this facility and they do a really good job. They try their hardest to keep all of the residents engaged with one another. Anytime there is a problem, they are very quick to respond. I can’t tell you enough how well the staff members treat my mom. They’re always friendly, warm, and welcoming. They do a pretty good job on the food as well. They serve 3 meals a day and for each meal they have 2 separate times for people who are early birds or late risers. This facility is always clean, it looks good, and it’s shiny. I would highly recommend this facility.

Best Value for the Money
reviewed on: 01/24/2017 by Ruth HillAfter my 96 yr old sister fell and broke her arm, we had to find a care center for her. Not only did it meet all our requirements of cleanliness, friendliness, and attentiveness, she has decided that maybe she could live there full time as she was becoming more and more anxious about living alone again. Fortunately, she is very close to family and has had more company than she ever had living at home. The price was also very reasonable as assisted living centers go and we had checked on several. For her it was the right choice. She is actually enjoying the activities they provide as well and enjoys the food.
Accept VA Benefits
reviewed on: 08/13/2013 by Satisfied CustomerThe community itself is a B. The room our loved one is in is large, nice and a good value. The rest of the property is old and not decorated very well it is actually a little depressing. The dining room tables are too high for the residents. The care they provide is good and the staff is good. We picked this community because it was affordable and they accept VA benefits, which not all communities do. The activities are ok and the food is good. They are also conveniently located for us. Overall we would recommend this community.
