It Has Been A Good Month
reviewed on: 12/22/2016 by AnonymousMy mom just moved in a month ago and the staff have been pleasant and she is happy with all of them. Housekeeping does a good job keeping her room clean, no issues. The activities are fine and there has been a lot of nice ones for the holidays. The meals could use more fiber in it. So far the lunches are better than the dinners. She is overall doing fine here.
Good place for many seniors

Unfortunately, in our situation, my father had health problems beyond what they could take care of and he needed to be in a skilled nursing home. He went downhill quickly and only stayed at Jamestown for a few months. Davey, recommended some care that was very important to dad and his own primary care refused it. When we got him to the hospital we found out about chronic heart failure, blood clots in legs and lungs and several other undiagnosed conditions that should have been looked into but were not by his physician and we appreciate the help Jamestown gave us in getting these diagnosed. We now have the help he needs. Unfortunately he was on a do not move order for the last 5 days in the home and the decline in dad will probably not be reversible at this point.
I would recommend Courtyard!

She seems to be generally happy with the staff. They offer daily activities. The community offers transportation on Tuesday and Thursday. They do only go a short distance and it is a two hour window. This is a nice community with about 120 residents. The community is clean and well maintained.
Best place ever
reviewed on: 05/18/2020 by Jody BergerMy mother was only there for about 6 months, but the staff even during that short time was unbelievable. The meals were second to none. There was a flu that went around and the staf fmade sure they immediately took action to protect the residents. During Covid-19, the community was very quick to act and ensure the safety of all the residents. We had a wonderful experience here. The value of the community was definitely worth it. The in-house care giving staff was amazing. They were all very caring and quick to react when needed. At the end of February my mother briefly had to go to hospital and then rehab. The RN that they brought in, however, wasn't able to detect an affliction that my mother had. They provided a ton of activities for the residents. My mother didn't often participate in the actives, but when she did, she loved it! I don't think I've ever seen such a quantity of activities provided at a community like this, but also the variety was outstanding.

reviewed on: 02/21/2016 by AnonymousMy mother liver at the Courtyard at Jamestown for 8 years and had a wonderful experience. The people serving there were warm and professional. Good food! They helped us arrange hospice. I am very grateful for all of the care that is available in today's world.
