Community Reviews
Great Atmosphere
reviewed on: 08/08/2013 by Satisfied CustomerThe staff is just super. They are very caring about the residents and know what they are doing. They keep a close eye on the residents but do not become intrusive. They have activities but could use more variety. Overall the atmosphere is nice and it's really like an apartment complex. The residents seem to be happy here. They have a hairdresser, a bank and a few other things on site so the residents can plan their day and take care of things without feeling like a burden to others. It just feels more like family and a the community has a sense of life.

Happy Family!
reviewed on: 10/31/2014 by AnonymousMy mother moved in recently. The only apartment we were initially told was available, was very tiny. Then the largest one bedroom became available before she moved, and she was able to get that, at the same price as the smaller unit. When touring, everyone we met told us how much they loved living there. All staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food is great (one thing my mother was looking forward to). When I try to call her, she is often out at some activity. She is now exercising, going to game nights, is in the book club, going to church services, etc. This is great since it keeps her active and engaged, which is very important when you are in your upper 90's. It was the best place she could have moved, especially since her children live out of town. We have peace of mind that her needs are being met and she is happy.
Chesterbrook Residences - Falls Church, VA
reviewed on: 10/01/2013 by Carrie H.My mother is happy and comfortable at Chesterbrook Residences. It is a small community with about 100 units so she is getting to know people quickly. The staff all know her and look out for her. I know that she is safe and well cared for. The amentities are fantastic....full service dining room, weekly apartment cleaning, beauty salon, various church services, shuttle to local stores. The only thing that could change would be to have more in house activities. There are several activities scheduled per day, but nothing that my mother really enjoys. More variety would be nice. All in all Chesterbrook is a wonderful value and a great home for older individuals. I expect my mother will be there for many years to come.

reviewed on: 12/16/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerResidents seemed happiest and most involved here. Nice surroundings. Downside is if Mom needed full care (aka if she was bed bound), we'd have to move her.
