Community Reviews

All around excellent

All around excellent! Every person I spoke to was happy there. I felt like a Michelle was showing me her home and family instead of a facility and its residents!

Seven Years at The MARC

reviewed on: 08/17/2019 by Pamela Lee

Madison Avenue Retirement Center was a wonderful home for my father for seven years. The knowledgable staff consistently went above and beyond for his health and wellbeing. His food was varied, enjoyable, nutritious, and the highlight of his day. Courteous and caring, the dining room and kitchen staff made the MARC feel like home. This wonderful community embraced us as a family, and supported us through his final hours. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Excellent Care for the Madison Avenue Residents during this time of Crisis

reviewed on: 03/27/2020 by Nancy Maxwell

The Director and all the staff at the Madison Avenue House are doing a terrific job of keeping my Mother safe during this horrible coronavirus situation. I know they're working tirelessly day and night to do the right things for the health and safety of the residents, along with attending to the physical and emotional needs of the residents. While it is very difficult for the families to not see their loved ones as they usually do, it is comforting to know that they have good safe care. I have complete admiration for the staff.

Great Place for Mom

reviewed on: 05/17/2019 by Glen Tyrrell

We moved mom to the island from Olympia to be closer to family. We were very fortunate to have found a nice unit at The Madison Ave House. Mom gets great care and she really likes the food. She considers the staff family and she is treated as such. Mom considers the hair salon a nice bonus. I am able to visit frequently but I also appreciate the level and ease of communication with management and staff. Mom has been here about a year and a half and is very happy with her home. Plenty of activities inside and out. Great Place!

Excellent Care

reviewed on: 03/09/2021 by Megan L

Both my parents have lived at Madison House for nearly 4 years. Throughout the pandemic the director of the facility and the president/CEO of Bainbridge Senior Living have done an excellent job communicating and keeping us informed of current safety protocols, ways to help us connect with our loved ones, and sharing pictures of their weekly activities. The staff offer a range of activities, events and outings to help residents stay active and enriched. Prior to the pandemic my young children would join their grandma and the other residents for BINGO. My dad enjoys going to the mens group meeting to share stories and talk about current events. My father is now in his nineties with limited mobility and my mother has a number of health issues. As their health has declined in the past year the staff have been very helpful in providing additional physical and emotional support. I so am grateful for the staff at Madison House and thankful my parents are surrounded by staff that are engaged and supportive.
