A Good Experience For Us Here
reviewed on: 09/27/2016 by AnonymousIt has been a good experience for us here with this community. They are taking good care of my mother and her needs. The community looks great, everything is nice and clean. She is getting involved in the community with the activities offered. The meals are nice. Overall its really nice community.
It's fine, it works for us.
reviewed on: 02/06/2014 by Loved oneIt's fine, it works for us. People are different so some of the staff are friendlier than others. I can't really rate value, I don't feel it's a fair question. We are also not in a position to use the activities so that is another area that cannot be rated. The food varies based on who is cooking it.
Favorite assisted living place.
reviewed on: 06/29/2020 by Gene and Amy Katers. We put my mom at Marla Vista and she loved it. We where amazed at all the caring staff that worked there. And the place was always clean and made you feel at home. If I where to recommend a place for someone to go it would be here. A huge thank you to Kasey for assuring us that our mom would be well taken care of. My mother Lucille was very happy here. She always said the food was good and maybe they feed me a little to much. But I loved it here she would always tell us. And she said the staff always treated her with respect.
The best care for people with Alzheimer's/Dementia
reviewed on: 08/22/2013 by JenniferWith some of the activities, there needs to be more artsy craftsy stuff, they are open to suggestions but I think my mom and the other people I've seen there would appreciate that. We chose them a. for the price and word of mouth and quality of care that other people were getting there and how they treated me and my family when we walked through. How I saw them treating other people blew me away. I would say for people with my mom's condition (Alzhiemers'/dementia), they provide the best care that I've seen sor far. Other places provide really big rooms and they think that's going to be like home when actually they need a smaller room to feel more secure. Since she's moved in she has not had one single out burst. They encourage the residents to get and and do gardening when the weather's good enough and if they wish to; its a more secure area and they said they can bring in hospice if they needed to and it wouldn't cost any more than what I already pay
Kids and I like the "home" atmosphere...
reviewed on: 12/28/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerKids and I like the "home" atmosphere. The environment is quiet and the living space looks clean and orderly. I would have liked to see a more appealing courtyard space. Security looks good, we talked about maybe needing to put a lock on the courtyard gate.
