Community Reviews
It's a very nice place. We are happy with it.
reviewed on: 05/21/2014 by Family MemberIt's a very nice place. We are happy with it. It's clean and the staff is friendly. They are all very expensive, and this is about average price. The are good about responding to a concern or a request. She loves the food. We liked that it was smaller, and it was in a nice location.

reviewed on: 01/15/2014 by Nancy OMy parents lived in 2 other facilities before moving here about a week ago. Autumn Bay is a small, family owned facility– important to me. Mom has dementia and dad is physically frail. They have a nice, roomy apartment together. Dementia patients are not separated from others. The facility's open floor plan seems to provide positive energy for all. Everyone dines together. The staff is responsive and mature, very caring, experienced and knowledgeable about needs of the elderly. They provided a very smooth transition, physically and administratively, for my parents and for me during the move-in process. Autumn Bay's costs are comparable to other facilities and I feel the service is outstanding. I feel we made an excellent choice. I believe my parents are comfortable.
A New Development
reviewed on: 06/17/2016 by AnonymousI liked most that this community is about 2 years old, it appears to look very nice. The staff are confident and thorough with the care provided. Again, I found that this community has an open yard with a small 4 foot gate to secure residents but I felt if my mom wanted to she could get over that gate. Lastly, there was another wait list to move in.

A Facility that Cares
reviewed on: 04/15/2020 by Irene SorensenThe staff are wonderful but my husband is having a hard time with adjusting his medications. The staff are providing almost one on one care for him though. The facility is really nice , the location is great, and he has an excellent room. It is a one floor , small building on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood with a wrap around back deck overlooking a river. It's really beautiful. The staff are so accommodating to the residents and they have residents at all levels of memory loss. The staff work really hard to meet their needs. They work directly with a primary doctor and a psychiatrist who actually visit the community. The staff are wonderful with communication and letting me know when the doctors visit my husband and keep my updated.
