She moved there from another community in Boise that might of had great reviews but their care didn't match their reviews. Now at Columbia Village that is a different story. My mom is always taken care of and she's not an easy resident to take care of. She is always clean, fed, entertained and happy. I recommend Columbia Village to anyone needing to place their loved ones in Memory Care.

reviewed on: 11/20/2019 by kylejI toured this community this week and I loved it. I plan on moving my mother here in about a month if all works out. Staff were very friendly, food looked delicious, room was spacious, courtyard is beautiful. I love the fact they have memory care units also.

reviewed on: 10/09/2013 by A Place For Mom CustomerThis place is very laid back. A resident opened the door to the 'house' we first visited and introduced himself which made Dad feel comfortable. The carpet and furnishings were pretty worn out, so our first impression was not super. We met Jeanne and she showed us around. Dad LOVED all the animals and could totally picture himself there. He liked that he wouldn't get lost in a long hallway. The homes felt like real homes, dirty carpet and all. Jeanne said they were going to be remodeling soon though. A big open area with bedrooms (studios) situated on the outside of the buildings. This encourages the residents to sleep in their rooms but mingle in the homes. By the time we left we felt very confident and comfortable. Dad doesn't like a lot of stimulation, so this place was his top choice. The only reason for 4 stars is cleanliness and the fact that I was courtesy called back with a blanket call right after speaking to her on the phone..like she didn't put the names together.
