Need To Train Their Staff Better for Memory Care

Lovely House
reviewed on: 07/18/2016 by AnonymousMy dad is now living here and it has been fine for my dad and I. He is in a safe and caring environment. There are no problems at being clean with the facility. The food taste good to us. There are activities available but dad chooses not to partake. I would recommend this community to family and friends.
American House

But with that being said, her first 2 weeks have been very encouraging. The staff have been very open, friendly and so willing to give mom the best care possible. So far, mom is happy and that is all we ask for.

The room sizes here were appropriate for one person. What I did not like wasa the change of management during the short time that we were here. The last management was not personable or good with communication. Overall, I would not recommend the facility.
A wonderful, past due review to write
reviewed on: 10/07/2021 by Debi SMy mother was a resident at AH Kentwood until she passed away in April 2018. Sadly she was only there for 14 months. She was in the Riverstone Bldg in memory care. From the moment we made contact to her final breath this was truly a fabulous place. The staff was very accessible. I lived out of town and the team was great in keeping me up to date about my mom. She was as happy there as she would have been anywhere. We made a donation of something in error, [name removed] (the now ex-executive director) is no longer there to text which is why I am now searching for someone to speak with. The nice thing about my quest is I get to add to reviews long neglected.
