    Wyoming is a city in Kent County, Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 72,125. In 1848 the township split the northern half being called Wyoming Township and then became a city in 1959 after a period of annexation, water, and sewer fights. The city has experienced population growth every census since the 1890 with some of the largest occurring after major wars.
