Community Reviews
Things are going well
reviewed on: 03/01/2017 by AnonymousThe owner of this service is excellent to work with. They made setting up the service easy and they explained everything up front. The caregivers that come out to the house have been good and on time. They help with dad's personnel needs and are a companion.
In our top 3!
reviewed on: 12/10/2013 by DaughterWe really liked the look of this place when we were looking into options for Mom. We know Mom would have a difficult time transitioning to assisted living, but this place was very nice looking and we feel like it would have worked out well. We selected another community, but this one was definitely in our top 3.
Beautiful place, definitely don't specialize in dementia care
reviewed on: 10/22/2013 by AnnIf you're looking for a place that has assisted living, good food and is beautiful, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for a dementia care unit....then pass this one by. They have a small wing for dementia care "spring cottage", but it is only a hallway of rooms that are so brightly lit it always looks like daytime, since each room has a panel window on the side, there is always light shining through the window. Can be very confusing for someone with dementia. Their form of mental "therapy" consisted of the therapist putting in a video of old people doing therapy.....yes watching a video of a therapy session...while the "therapist" texts on her phone as the residents watch.
Super beautiful community!
reviewed on: 02/10/2017 by AnonymousI absolutely loved this community. It is very nice and well cleaned. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with everything. The only reason why we did not pick here was because it was to expensive for what we had.
They are hands down a five.
reviewed on: 05/01/2015 by AnonymousThey are hands down a five. They change their menu every Friday, and she says it gets better every week, and it started at a really high place. The overall approach and how they deliver exactly what they describe, is great. They are there to make sure that if the residents need care, that is completely assumed, then they move on to the hard work on helping you enjoy life. As opposed to keeping you alive and calling it good enough.
