Wonderful Place

The staff was always vigilant, well trained and very caring of the residents needs. I could not have been happier with my choice of Hearthstone. I highly recommend it for any loved ones.

The staff was well trained and caring from the bottom to the top. I highly recommend Hearthstone Estates in Lakewood plus it's very reasonably priced..
Room For Improvement
reviewed on: 05/09/2017 by AnonymousI would say it is still a work in progress for my mother with her move to this community. I do feel she is safe, but there a some concerns I do have. I do feel they over promised on many things. There isn't much social interaction between the residents. Also they need to be more proactive with telling me what supplies she needs. They do listen to my concerns, and for the most part the staff is good. It is a small nice community, I just think there is room for improvements.
We are very happy with the way they treat the residents.

Everyone there is very nice, professional and pleasant. The way they bill for medication is a little different than what we thought it would be, not bad but just different. We liked the size of the community, we really liked the idea that they only had forty something people, we liked the home like, smaller environment. They are also an older average aged resident, and when we saw the residents, I could picture my mom being right about the same level of ability. In their center common area, they have about four or five residents, that are bedridden and can't speak, and they bring them out, so they can hear voices and see people. I think it's very nice, but it can be worrisome and scary for my loved one. I like how proactive and hands on the staff is.
