Peace of mind

We couldn't be happier for her since there are so many positive attributes to this place it allows our family to have the peace of mind that Grandma is in the best possible situation. The staff is wonderful. Friendly, always in a good mood and ready to help if needed in a moments notice. The people who work here make you feel like they are family and that they are going to treat your loved one like family. I can't say enough good things and feel so fortunate that this option is available for Grandma.
Smaller community!!

I did was not to thrilled about this place and nothing really stood out to me that I really liked. I just did not have a good feeling during my visit and decided this was not the right fit for my mother.

reviewed on: 11/15/2018 by AnonymousMy mother moved from MI to Emerald Gardens 6 months ago. They had everything ready for her the day she moved in. The staff made her feel welcome and continue to care for her like she is family. They communicate with me to keep me informed so we work as a team to keep mom comfortable. She really enjoys the weekly scenic bus trips they take and I really like all the special events they have that includes family. It's a wonderful place. My only suggestion would be to make some improvements to their food menu.

reviewed on: 10/20/2020 by Pat HorganI highly recommend Emerald Gardens in Woodburn OR. They offer assisted living and memory care along with respite care. The staff is very caring and are always willing to help my mom. She lives in assisted living and needs some extra attention at times. The caregivers never make her feel guilty or at fault. They always assure her that they are there to help her anytime she needs them. They offer fun things for the residents to do but they make sure they stay distant from each other. They are very diligent about keeping everyone safe from disease. They are always open to helping me take care of my mom since I'm not able to visit with her. They are always patient with my questions and concerns. Please contact them if you have someone you love that needs the extra care they can provide.
