Overall great place for senior care

We chose Lexington place because of what you got for the value, we felt like it was a nice facility with good programs compared to some others we looked into. The rooms are all studio apartments, but they have different sizes so you can choose what better fits your needs. About 2 months ago, they got a new director and some of the things that she has put into place are not good right now and she is not good with communication. We have had to go above her in order to get answers on things and issues that we are having. I do believe the person we have been speaking to is trying to help and solve some of these issues. But overall my mom is very happy here and well taken care of. Even with the issues we are having, we are still happy with our choice of Lexington place in general.
Real good place

Shes where she considers that home right now and as long as we have enough money to keep her there we will but if money runs out well have to go someplace else. We liked the fact that momma doesnt have far to go, she kind of stumbles when she walks. Jennifer, the lady who talked to us, shes excellent, aint got no problems with that, they need to give her an atta girl! She talks to me when I go in and shee her and she talks to momma, shes good.
I would recommend, the issues I see exist in all nursing homes
reviewed on: 02/23/2021 by anonymousWe chose Lexington Place at the time because they were coming off of quarantine and they did not have as many restrictions on their residents as some of the other places. The room sizes here seem to be adequate. Overall, it is a nice place. I do think that they could have really improved the quality of their activities and done more for their residents to keep them busy during quarantine.

The only issue that I have seen is the building is aging and there are some repairs needed, and the courtyard could be re-landscaped and modernized. I would like to see more choices of vegetarian meals for the residence or the ability to choose from a menu. I would recommend this community to others.
